1964 Studebaker ½ ton pickup Long Bed, Long wheel base, all original truck fully semi-restored 16 years ago. Full optioned model with electric overdrive, 259 CID V8, 3 speed manual + overdrive, AM radio, Big Bed model 8 Ft, wheel covers, 2 tone, sliding rear window, full sized dock bumper, no rust.
This truck was sold new here in Southern California Inland Empire area where it lived its life so far.
3 owners. 1st owner purchased new and used it lightly for 8 years, then was sold to the 2nd owner who was president of the Studebaker Car club of Inland Empire who owned it for 30 years also lightly used and then stored during that time. Sold to 3rd. owner in 2005 who was a retired Big truck Diesel Technician and did the restoration in 2007. Lightly used after restoration and now has 57k original miles. Electrical harness is original. Window Wipers, head lights, hi beam, turn signals, horn, dash lights, running lights, radio, extra big truck horn also installed, speedometer, odometer all working.
The work was documented with pics and misc. records all included with truck as seen in pics. Work included: rebuild of original engine, new rings, bearings, seals, rebuild original water pump, generator, steering box, rebuilt drive shaft, brakes and brake cylinders. Rebuilt Original radiator. None of these items were replaced but instead rebuilding of original components only. Truck was also Amateur painted. Interior is mostly original except for carpet. Body is very solid and rare with No real rust, just surface corrosion. Fuel tank was restored, new fuel pumps including axillary electric fuel pump installed. New tires and much more . Recent oil, oil filter, Air filter installed. Currently driven around the block once every 2 weeks. kept in the garage. Shop manual and original keys, plus spare set of keys, spare tire, jack, jack handle and spare wheel cover, Clear clean Calif Title in my Name, current registration. Truck starts right up every time, runs and drives good, engine stays cool.
